The Fifth of November! Hope that everyone had some fun at firwork displays over the weekend. We were very lucky and a neighbour had bought a big box of firworks so we wrapped up warm and set off to the beach which is just a few minutes away.
It was breezy by the sea but lots of fun then we had a great party with a BBQ (a little too much red wine ) and toasted marshmallows on the fire.
Being from Northern Ireland, we don't celebrate Guy Fawkes (and fireworks were illegal for most of my childhood - oh how we've progressed!) But I was in Glasgow at the weekend with my other half and saw my first ever Guy Fawkes fire work display in Glasgow Green - it was wonderful! The toasted marshmallows sound lovely - we didn't have those unfortunately!
